 January 13, 2025: DHHS Opportunity for Information Sessions and Public Comment

The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is planning to amend several 1915(c) Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waivers, including:

  • Comprehensive Developmental Disabilities Services Waiver (NE.4154)

  • Developmental Disabilities Day Services Waiver for Adults (NE.0394)

  • Family Support Waiver (NE.2366)

  • Aged and Adult and Children with Disabilities Waiver (NE.0187)

These amendments are set to take effect on July 1, 2025, pending approval by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Attend a Virtual Information Session

Join us for a presentation on the proposed amendments to learn more and ask questions. We’ll be hosting online sessions on:

  • January 15: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM (CT)

  • January 17: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

  • January 21: 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM

  • January 24: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

  • February 6: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
